Did you know that Hamilton Doula has a lending library?
As part of their services, all clients have access to the Hamilton Doula lending library. Don’t spend a lot of your hard earned money on pregnancy and birth related books that you’ll only use for a few months; take advantage of Hamilton Doula’s superior service.
Available are books on maternity culture, pregnancy, vegetarian pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth preparation, the spirituality of birth, birth preparation for partners, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, yoga for pregnancy and for toddlers, infant massage and new parenting guidance. There are a few DVDs on yoga, The Business Of Being Born, circumcision and newborn self-attachment.
I’m excited to tell you that my friends and colleagues at Birth Beginnings and HypnoBirthing Hamilton will be screening Orgasmic Birth. And, it’s free!
I’ve seen this powerful documentary twice now and I’ve really enjoyed the way it shows how the process of birth can and should be a joyful event. And, yes, there is actually a woman who has an orgasm during labour!
Date: Monday May 25th, 2009 Time: Film @ 7pm, Q&A @ 8:30pm Location: Burlington Central Library, Centennial Hall Meeting Room, 2331 New St., Burlington Cost: FREE! RSVP preferred: info@hypnobirthinghamilton.com
The film will be followed by a Q&A session facilitated by two doulas/childbirth educators. Come get your birth-related questions answered!
Well, as luck would have it, a lovely family need to have a baby today and Shannon will be with them. It’s a fantastic day to welcome a new person into the world: it is sunny and warm and beautiful in Hamilton, Ontario today!
